Barefoot, he skipped through the soft grass, enjoying the song the birds were singing just for him. As he followed the gently bubbling stream, he caught site of his best friends John the rabbit and Lizzy the frog. He was just about to join them in a friendly dance, when the shrieking of his mother woke him from his sleep. "Jeremiah Smith, you get out of bed right this instant!" screeched Jeremiah's mother. Nothing, yet.I remember laying with her. We'd lay there for hours, side by side, looking at the ceiling. We'd smoke a joint, hold each other, and listen to Sgt. Pepper's over and over. Or was it Magical Mystery Tour? Whatever it was, it replaced any conversation we might have had. Even when we would fuck, we never spoke to each other. We had nothing to say. She's gone now. It might been November, but it could have been any month. My memory has never been too good. We were living together in London, for no reason other than London seemed like a nice city to live in. She worked at a restaurant, supporting the both of us while I tried to sell myNothing, yet.
